Iconic comedian Louie Anderson, a three-time Emmy–Award-winner, is one of the country’s most adored comics. Recognized by Comedy Central as “One of 100 Greatest Stand-Up Comedians of All Time,” his career has spanned more than 30 years. He is a best-selling author, star of his own stand-up specials and sitcoms, and continues to tour the country performing to standing-room-only crowds. Louie won his most recent Emmy for his portrayal of Christine Baskets, Zach Galifianakis’ mother, on the FX series Baskets. His latest book, Hey Mom: Stories for My Mother, But You Can Read Them Too is Louie’s way of catching Ora Zella Anderson up on everything that has been going on in his life. Hey Mom (2018 Simon and Shuster) pays tribute to his mother who he has channeled in his stand-up routine for decades.
