Featuring Soloists Mikaela Bennett, Sarah Hetzel, Jorell Williams

Tackling the impact of gun violence in the United States, The Struggle To Forgive: Confronting Gun Violence in America is a new musical dramatic work that hauntingly gives voice to the victims of the gun debate.

The libretto is based on audio, video and written accounts of those living with the aftermath of gun violence or the loss of a loved one.

The evening also includes the following works:

“The Unanswered Question” – Charles Ives

“Prayer for Mary” – Gary S. Fagin – World Premiere – Dedicated in memory to Knickerbocker Chamber Orchestra violinist Mary Whittaker, a fatal victim of gun violence.
